ERIC GOLNICK

ERIC Golnick | CO-FOUNDER AND CEO

Eric Golnick is a Navy veteran, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate whose career is defined by a deep commitment to those who serve. As a Naval Officer, he deployed extensively across Asia and played a key role in humanitarian efforts following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami in Japan. After his military service, he served as a senior policy advisor, working with the White House, Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Congress on national security and defense issues. Drawing from his own experiences with military-related trauma, Eric co-founded Forge Health, a nationally recognized behavioral healthcare organization for veterans, first responders, and their families. Under his leadership, Forge expanded to over 30 clinics and established a landmark national partnership with the VA. A recognized expert on mental health and suicide prevention, he has testified before Congress and the U.S. Senate and continues to advise on healthcare, policy, and communications. Eric has also acted in times of crisis, including supporting veteran-led evacuation efforts during the fall of Kabul. In 2023, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Miami, where he delivered the university’s commencement address.

BJ Golnick is an acclaimed filmmaker, producer, and cinematographer whose work is defined by a deep passion for uncovering untold stories and bringing extraordinary real-world experiences to life.. With a career spanning award-winning documentaries, global campaigns, and high-profile collaborations with Netflix, National Geographic, the History Channel, and Discovery Channel, BJ has built a reputation for creating narrative-driven content that captivates and moves audiences. His visual storytelling—marked by cinematic depth and emotional resonance—has earned multiple Telly Awards and recognition at international film festivals. Specializing in adventure documentaries, military history, and purpose-driven brand work, BJ brings a rare combination of technical mastery and human insight to every project. Through his creative vision, he amplifies the voices of those who serve, lead, and inspire—transforming real-world experiences into stories that endure.

MATTHEW STINER | Senior Advisor | Veteran and Military Initiatives

Matthew Stiner is a Marine Corps veteran and national leader in veteran advocacy, military health policy, and government affairs, driven by a career-long focus on improving the lives of service members, veterans, and their families. After earning the Combat Action Ribbon for his service in Iraq, he began a path in public service that took him from city government to the highest levels of federal leadership. He served as a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, working closely with Secretary Bob McDonald on major reform efforts, and later in the White House as Director of Military and Veterans Affairs, where he helped shape national policy across the defense and veterans health landscape. Matthew went on to lead government affairs for Humana Military, the largest health-care contractor to the Department of Defense, representing the organization in Washington and working with Congress, federal agencies, and national partners to strengthen access and outcomes for military families. Earlier in his career, he founded Justice For Vets, a national organization that built and expanded veteran treatment courts across the country and helped transform how the justice system responds to veterans in crisis. Before his federal appointments, he helped the Mayor of Tulsa develop veteran and family initiatives that were later recognized by the U.S. Conference of Mayors as a national model. Matthew holds an MPA from the University of Oklahoma as a Harry S. Truman Scholar and a BA, magna cum laude, from Oklahoma State University.

JASON PALAMARA | Senior Advisor | First Responder Initiatives

Jason M. Palamara is a Navy Veteran and retired New York City Police Department Cold Case Homicide Detective with twenty- years of experience in forensic and criminal investigations. Jason is a mental health advocate having served as a peer support counselor with the NYPD and currently as a volunteer crisis intervention counselor trainer on Veteran and first responder cultural competence. He is a John C. Maxwell certified life coach, teacher and speaker. Jason co-authored a book on police wellness and resilience entitled, Living Blue: Helping Law Enforcement Officers and Their Families Survive and Thrive from Recruitment to Retirement. He previously served as the Director of Veteran and First Responder Engagement for Forge Health, a nationally recognized behavioral healthcare organization for Veterans, first responders, and their families.
